Do you think the teacher might be just as frustrated by having to teach the TAAS as the kids are by learning it? Perhaps she was at the end of her rope trying to teach what she has been told she MUST teach while the kids chatted away... Teresa G., who doesn't think writing should be used as punishment but who also thinks this is a partnership with the kids...
