Director of Learning Standards
Digital Learning, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, provides
research-based, standards-aligned technology solutions that
improve student performance and teacher productivity. We
currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Director of
Learning Standards, to be based in the New York City, Nashville or
Chicago areas. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert
and team leader in assessing curricula and learning frameworks at
the district, state, and national levels; ensuring the alignment of
methodologies and assessment/instructional products with such
standards; and providing a consistent framework for mapping and
assessing gaps. Responsibilities also encompass managing a team
of experts nationwide, working closely with districts, offering sales
and implementation support including district presentations, and
ensuring adequate resources from other departments.
To qualify, you must have a doctoral degree in the education field
and demonstrated expertise with the following: curriculum
standards and methodologies, curriculum design, and preferably
with assessment tools. It would be helpful, but not necessary, to
have administrative or teaching experience in K-12 education.
Organizational, communication, leadership and presentation skills;
and the ability to travel are required.
