The saga of Carl Chew is important.

I'm posting the url for where Jerry's piece appears on my site because I 
hope you'll also read the other accounts of Carl's action, for which 
I've added hot links.

As Carl says, he doesn't want people to send money to him--to replace 
his lost wages. He wants people to donate to the activist organization 
of their choice. I hope you will do that.

I'd be happy to keep track--and send Carl the list. Just let me know 
what you've done.

Here's the advice Carl's daughter gave him:
When I first decided to refuse giving the WASL my 14 year-old daughter 
spoke to me. "Yay, my revolutionary papa! But remember, no one should 
try to do something like this in a vacuum. Rosa Parks did not just sit 
on that bus by herself. She had hundreds if not thousands of people 
backing her up and giving her courage. Go out and let people know what 
you are doing so you don't feel alone."


We should let Carl know that we're listening!! Donate to a resistance 
organization in his name.
