Maybe, but I keep hearing that Reps. pay very little attention to email --
too easy to copy and send. Which means real letters and/or phone calls.

I do not see any reason to focus on this now. More important may well be in
2001 when the new pres unveils some really lousy plan we are then obliged to
spend some of our valuable time trying to defeat. Calls and mail will be very
important then, should that happen. Or, positively, if the Wellstone-Scott
bill is re-introduced, a push to support it could be useful. I'd use our time
on other things for now.
