One of the best things I read this summer was Jayber Crow by Wendell Berry.
I also read Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates. I don't know if I would recommend
it...too tragic. Oh, and All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy. I loved
that. A great modern western story.
