This is Paul Peterson's and Bill Howell's latest survey to see if the world is coming their way. And spinning it so it looks that way. Only 31% favor renew as is. 26% favor renew with minor changes. That's your majority. Of course, if you lump "renew with minor changes" in with "renew with major changes" and "repeal altogether," you get 69%.

What I love is that if the question only mentions "federal legislation" and not NCLB by name, there is greater support.

You can see it by putting "education next" into Google.

Government and Education Next, a publication of the
Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
