Well...let's put it this way, Folks: NEW??!!
The *test* a state adminsters in order to tie into LNCB will HAVE to be *scientific*
;-\
According to recent posts this list wrt USDoE and other Fed'l agencys' *ideologic cleansing*
(including ethnic media) of WEB sites,
AND
the reader's list for USDoE grants & RFP/NOFAs (Request for Proposals & Notification of Funding) I
sent along a few weeks ago by Prof. Judith Priessle,
AND
the stated ground rules barring anything that is NOT in line w/*adminstrative thinking* is not to be
considered to be *available* on Fed'l sites,
AND
the present *resources* available on the USDoE are present in MUCH diminished capacity * form over
the past year (I only compare my own *mirrored* copies and the *BushII*, Shrub WEB presence. Check
your own materials and see for yourself!
...WhaddyYaTHINK is going to *pass*, Juanita? pretty slim pickin's this side of high *reliability
numbers* (read normalized MC testing w/heavy-duty item analysis, the BANE of most members, this
list) and *alignment to standards*--regardless of the fact that most of the standards are not
*covered* by the test, regardless of whose you use
AND
the correlative fact that the VALIDITY of these instruments are HIGHLY suspect, accordingly...
...in other words: the solution is *political*, if it were *rational* we'd have solved it by now
w/the *empirical evidence* presently available with the consideration of *sound minds;
but don't forget: this mindstorm of legislation, LNCB: the Transmogrification of Title I programing!
We went WAY past *reform*, even *transformation* on this one, Folks! This *transmogrification* of
*remedial aid* (aka Title I) is the product of Bubbaism, the past administration having paved the
way for this psychosis in accountability scams...
NEW??!! :-} rap.
