Powerful.

I do hope people send along these forms of resistance. Here at FairTest we will be compiling them and reporting on them - and helping to use them to overhaul federal law.

  There are two exciting examples of teacher-led resistance in CA that I 
  just heard about.
  A grad class at National Univeristy in San Bernadino/Riverside (south 
  of LA) decided their collective masters thesis would be to put on a 
  conference on NCLB. They got Jerry Bracey to be one of their keynotes. 
  They invited community movers and shakers (Rotary and Lions Clubs, 
  PTAs, elected officials, church folk, etc.) and put the thing on. The 
  regional union headquarters gave them $2,500. Theyre writing up the 
  instructions.
  Second, another local group sent 10,000 postcards from teachers alone 
  (not even parents yet) to union and political reps calling for 
  "eliminating NCLB". They will have a website up mid Jan.
  Im inspired! Its happening!
