Re: ABURKE = Delete

It's a hoot watching your periodic "Mean Girls" exercise urging other kids not to play with me.

You keep doing it, so I wonder just how much negative training you need.

Now you're trying to paint me as a racist because I referred to Martin Luther King both as Martin Luther King and as Martin. Remember the song, "Abraham, Martin, and John"? Was that racist? No way, it was stirring and elevating. Throughout history, pogroms, purges, and show trials have always relied on the same tactic: take one thing about a person or group, paint it as evil, and make that to be everything about them.

How desperate can you get and how low can you go? But we have an idea of that already, don't we? On this list you threatened me with mob violence. Tell me again how true you are to the legacy of Dr King.

And to Manny in Oakland - tell me how "credentials" are the mark of a person.

Don't waste your time on Art Burke. >>

Every list has lurkers who serve as time wasters. Art's one of those on this
list. As new people come here, we periodically have to warn people from
wasting time on the guy. Like so many crazies who work the Web, his job is to
waste
your time to keep you from doing other things.

It was nice talking with everyone from Oakland when I was there in August
putting my son Dan up at Berkeley. From what I heard, you all have more than
enough to do in Oaklan and the Bay area without having to waste even a
nanosecond
on a guy like Art Burke. He's been here in the crazy cage for about five years
now, and about once every six months some of us post the new warning for
people who are new to this forum on the struggle.

I recently called him out because his nonsense trailed into another member's
posting, and I noticed he was referring to Martin Luther King Jr. as "Martin."
Given the word that Dr. King did here in Chicago, in Memphis, and elsewhere
during the last two years of his life, I was certain (also, because I had
actually worked in those struggles decades ago here in Chicago) that there was
no
way Dr. King would have mouthed those Manhattan Institute and Education Trust
spewings -- or Art Burke's -- let alone allowed some vapid racist to refer to
him as "Martin."
