Gerry: would you not agree that even such a comparison as you
desscribe might be insufficeint, unless you can demonstrate that all
other factors were control except the change to a block schedule? And
is not one of the basic comlaints of many on this baord thatcomparison
of this years students to next years sutdents is not a compeltely valid
comparison, that is, we may be compring diffrent student characteristics
rather than the difference in instructional delivery, even if every
other factor were held constant?
