I don't suppose George C gives much stock to the other books I list below from my dissertation studies, either. Ken! it's a week of convergence, indeed. I appreciate your offering a rereading of Dave Stratman's research, as well. The hardest part of my educational experience was living what I learned from the (educational) critical theorists and the existential phenomenologists--it's vewy, vewy scawey, indeed, like Juanita sez...I see that we DO have much in common. I'll let the world-historical perpective aside for the moment (though I never set it too far aside).
