Art: The voters/taxpayers are only getting the best politicians money can
buy ......... At least Cheney is not in the Ed. Dept., the kids would be
writing with $500.00 pencils .... supplied by Halliburton. Mike R.

UTAH HOUSE REBUKES BUSH WITH ITS VOTE ON SCHOOL LAW

New York Times -- February 11, 2004
by Sam Dillon

In a rebuke to the Bush administration, the Utah House voted yesterday
to prohibit the state's education authorities from using any local money
to comply with the president's signature education law, No Child Left
Behind.
Good move on the part of Utah, trying to get more money out of the feds.
That way the taxpayers only pay 100 percent.
