Has anyone written or know of a detailed analysis/critique of the Mass Insight report "The Turnaround Challenge?"

Insight got Gates $ to work on this - the summary makes some reasonable points, but the language is the quasi-militaristic language common now to many 'reformers' and they would appear to support some centralist, top-down and possibly privatized approaches. Insight has been a major supporter of high-stakes testing in MA, and other sorts of things that produce test-oriented, regimented schooling.

A friend asked if I had read it, and as yet I've not had time. But it is getting a steady flow of attention of the sort that many of us would find alarming. So, looking for any real discussion of this approach from folks who support progressive pedagogy, etc.
