Denver's willingness to use multiple indicators of schools is good, but it still looks like the only indicators of student learning are the standardized tests. They are thoroughly inadequate tools for the purpose of high-quality evaluation, and their high-stakes creates powerful pressure to reduce curriculum and instruction to test prep.
