Thank you very much, Karen. This is precisely the type of information we
were looking for (though STAR is not yet officially a high-stakes test).
I did use a different URL to get the data, however . . . . .
http://star.cde.ca.gov/star2000e/reports/05.html did the trick!
Can ARN folk from other states point us to similar data about their
state-mandated tests?
