It's worse than ridiculous. I'm afraid there's more. Same friend, same
child, school TEA (Texas Education Agency, n'est pas?) rating exemplary.
This is what my son went through last year. The anger one feels in this
situation is difficult to describe.

Tonite we had a major fiasco. @@@@@ forgot his writing assignment at
school. He was crying his eyes out saying I must take him
back to the school to get it or he will have to stay after school. I
have never seen this child so upset in my life. I told him I'd
write a note but that it was too late to go back to the school. He said
the teacher told the students that a note from the parent
will not do any good. Carol, I thought he was gonna have a fricken
break-down. He said he was almost finished with it paper, a
persuasive essay for the taas prep. He said he was ready to wear his
button.

What are they doing to our children?
