Exactly, George! And when I send in my subscription to Kappan, I'll mail in
my subscription to Substance as well.

I was sort of feeling sorry for myself as I looked around the Phi Delta
Kappan site to find I can't join the "club" because I haven't been to
college, however. I would fit in under the section of "associated with
education" but would have to have a bachelor's degree or be in a degree
seeking program. Maybe someone should tell them the world is achangin' and
they should take referral memberships from credentialed educators. This
would honor us independent study types whose sole purpose in life at the
moment is to improve public education.
