This reminds me of the 2nd grade teacher my two oldest kids had, who claimed
the everynight homework should only take 15-20 minutes. It worked out to
about that for my daughter. But obviously the teacher had never had a
7-year-old of her own-- yet-- trying to get 10 spelling sentences out of him
every Tuesday evening or rushing around every Wednesday to get that math
worksheet completed before church. And she didn't have infant twins at home
either.
How often does Dr. Bergeson teach 7th grade math or language arts? I mean
now, not 20 years ago. Oh, that's right, she set up a parental involvement
program in Salishan once.
