For some reason, your ISP bounced my mail by *Spamcop*, a blocking agent (see note below cc'd from
the counce notice), Carol, so I send it along to you via the list...

**************************************************

How dear & ThanQ, Carol, for this levity...my Folks, bless 'em, STILL call & *sing the song* each
year (they're 79/80!).

I will miss their call tonight since I'm leaving for late meetings in Albany, presently. Melissa
Freeman will be presenting research she & my mentor, Sandra Mathison (a la AEA position paper fame),
have been conducting concerning HST/SBE in NYS middle schools.

Not only will I take stodgy Art's talisman w/me, I will hear the tune you *sang* and think of you
and our common struggle as I drive back & forth today.

*My ladies*, as I call my dear wife, & girls (12 & 9), served me my cake & gifts last night,
Birthday eve, and I find myself, underneath the cynical twists and turns of more distant things our
life entwines, indeed, happy these days for the things that are closest to me, as are you and many
this list... ;-} rap.
