George,
I replied not to your original post, but to the one defending giving Marion
Joseph the honorific "educator". I have no doubt that you truly believe her
to be an "effective, sincere, and knowledgeable educator", but I don't think
I need to add anything to the opinions already offered here from listmembers
in California and elsewhere who have more familiarity with her record and
tenure in the politics of CA education.
