NEWS FLASH - TESTS TO REPLACE BAND AND ORCHESTRA CONCERTS

MULLET (UNSI) -- State Superintendent Bleacher Porter announced today that
the Columbia State Achievement Program (CSAP) will include music tests
beginning in spring 2008.

"If we don't test it, they wont' teach it," Porter said. "This is the best
way to maintain the importance of the performing arts."

"Unfortunately, this will mean canceling concerts and marching-band
performances as students study for the test, but it's a small price to pay
so that the kids can do well on the tests."

(Yes, this is a fake news item. So far.)
