Kids get jobs at fast food outlets, save up money to buy an I-Pod or
sneaks or other staples of teenage couture, and then quit. Big deal.

I think the interpretations of some of the numbers are likely different
than
what Fisch thinks, or at least implies. One display says that 1 in 4
workers is at a job where they've been emloyed less than one year. I
think
his interpretation is that things are moving faster all the time. My
interpretation is that there has been an explosion of shitty jobs that
people can't stand except for short periods (fast food work,
hospitality
industry, retail sales, etc.).
