I have been swamped with holiday company, so I am way behind reading e-mail. So if you have seen the article I reference below, please forgive. It is such a very worthy read, I didn't want to take a chance on anyone missing it. Florida certainly is a testing ground for the privatizers' schemes. It exposes the most recent slight-of-hand education funding tricks by Fla. Gov. Rick Scott and makes some very interesting connections to Bill Gates, KIPP, Jeb Bush, etc. The author is a gal I have helped "see the light" on the true motives behind corporate sponsored education reforms.
