Re: NCLB booklet in Spanish

La Raza believes that NCLB has brought important benefits to students learning English and argues for including them in NCLB's systems of assessment and accountability.

You guys are on the wrong side of an important civil-rights issue.

Thanks to the prodigious efforts of Pete Farrugio, Elizabeth Jaeger's
booklet is now available in Spanish: Lo Que Todos los Padres, Maestros,
y Miembros de la Comunidad DebenSaber Acerca de NCLB ("Que Ningún Niño
Se Quede Atrás")

It is available on the Educator Roundtable site.

http://www.educatorroundtable.org

We are searching for an individual or group willing to finance the
printing and distribution.

Meanwhile, over 8,000 of the booklets in English have been shipped
around the country. Individuals are making a great effort to get the
message out to the public that NCLB should not be reauthorized. We have
the month of July to fight this fight.

There are still some booklets left: 100 booklets for $50.
