Subject: NETS Team Announced

TO: ISTE NETS For Teachers "Infusing Teacher Education Curriculum with
Technology" Writing Team Applicants

FROM: Lajeane Thomas, Director
ISTE NETS Project

RE: Selection of Writing Team Members

The ISTE NETS for Teachers Curriculum Writing Team members have been
selected. There were so many wonderful candidates, it was very difficult
to make the selections. The following individuals were selected to serve
on the July/August 2000 team. Remember, there will be another team that
will be selected for a fall writing session, so, if you applied this time
and were not selected, or have a special interest in serving on one of the
NETS teams, please keep an eye on the ISTE Web Site for notification of
application for the fall team. I wish all who applied could have been
selected --- but there were close to 200 applicants for 35 slots. The
winnowing job was incredibly difficult.
