Washington contracts with Riverside for WASL, also
switched to ITBS to consolidate contractors for
its norm-referenced test.

Maureen Dimarco, who is the head testified that the
California CLAS test was a first class disaster.

Of course, the WASL is nothing like that.

Although I wrote the seminal article on the test companies' monopoly on
reading instruction, I just realized I dont know which company publishes
which state's test. Can we do a little survey? Please just let me know
who publishes your state's test.
Ill start. CA doesnt pretend to customize. It just uses Harcourt
Educational Measurements SAT9.
