I don't think we should standardize anything, including good ideas like
authentic assessment. That's when it gets bastardized. Ten different
schools or classrooms can practice 10 different kinds of authentic
assessment and all be meaninful to students, depending on the individuals
involved. BTW, what is miscue evaluation? Irv
