Well, I finally got a 504 plan for my son after two years of fighting. While in the planning conference, I found out something that was really horrible. The Assessment Coordinator for my local district will, next year, assume the duties of the Director of Special Services. She won't stop being the assessment coordinator . . . she is ADDING on the Director of Special Services to her job description. Does this seem a bit odd to anyone else?
