Yup, since I have the report. The 2000 ETS Visiting Committtee is:
Dr. Piedad Robertson, President, Santa Monica College -- Chair
Albert Budet, President, Hispanic Assn. for Higher Ed of NJ
Dr. Mary Diez, Chair Master of Arts Program, Alverno College
Dr. Michael Ego, Dean, San Jose State
Dr. Antonio Flores, President, Hispanic Assn of Colleges and Univs.
Dr. Mary Futrell, Dean, George Washington University
Anthony Lopez, Civic Strategies
Kay Luzier, Past Ed. Comm, Chair, National PTA
Kapil Mohabir, Student Rep., NYU
Debra Paulson, AFT and Middle School Math Dept. Chair
Dr. Barbara Plake, Director, Buros Center for Testing, UNebraska
Dr. Gloria Scott, President, Bennet College
Dr. Ross Traub, Ontario Inst. for Studies in Ed., U of Toronto
Dr. Arthur Wise, President NCATE
The report is downloadable as a PDF file from www.ets.org. It's an
easy and interesting read.
One more quote of interest, this one attribued to Visiting Committee
member Arthur Wise: "ETS has been the world leader in admissions
testing; now it needs to turn its expertese and wisdom to comprehensive
exit testing." Unclear to me whether this refers to college exit
testing, high school exit (=graduation) testing or, more likely, both.
