As an NBCT teacher in an urban district, I disagree with this statement. I'd
be happy to share the work of my students if you'd like to compare.

I do, however, have problems with the Nat'l Board, but they're mostly
financial and political. I've spent quite a bit of time in Washington, and
they're connections with policy makers there is not nearly as strong as it
should be. They haven't provided much research backing their effectiveness,
either.
