Here we go again. Throw my name into some unintelligible gibberish about
teacher unions that makes no sense, and accuse me of having no principles.
Since no one could find a single logical point in this screed no matter how
long they tried, we are left with nothing but name-calling inserted between
poor imitations of "Jabberwocky."

Don't you ever get tired of excreting such discourse, if I can give it that
elevated name, on this list, or of going out of your way to provoke flame
wars? I don't even pretend to seeing any virtue in trying to engage you on
any level: why don't you just stay in your corner of the universe?

Parkany writes:
<< I intend to see the unions (as we say in another orthodoxy, IN BOTH KINDS)
managers colluding w/labor attend to the fact that all these management &
oversight (aka accountability) protocols are merely MANAGEMENT (read
operations/support activities having absoluteluy NOTHING to do w/instruction.
Witness the plight of poor Goe. S. in ChiTowm--excoriated for using
proprietary items in after-test analysis--indicating once and for all the
absurdity and moral corruption evident in crediting these tests under
*Instructional* lines in district budgets. The very idea, Dr. Leo--where IS
your shame? where are your prinicples, where ARE your principals, for that
matter...

Power concedes nothing without a demand.
It never has, and it never will.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress.
Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet deprecate agitation are men who
want crops without plowing the ground. They want rain without thunder and
lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its waters.
