I've been on automatic-Delete re Art Burke for the last six months,

Can any one answer this question: Has Art ever--EVER-- persuaded any
one on arn-l through his language (trite name-calling: two favorites
"loony" and "silly"), logic (ignorance of facts or manipulation of
information), or professional standing/reputation in the national
education community (Mr. Anonymity here. No, make that Mr.
Gallinaceous.) of his point of view on educational issues?
Art is an ideologue. Like all ideologues, he doesn't/won't accept any
information contrary to his worldview. None. (Has anyone ever changed
the views of Rush Limbaugh? Ann Coulter? Pick-your-own-ideologue?)
The point? Talking to/responding to ideologues is pointless. My five
cents.
