Wow. I would have hoped that a teachers' union would open a charter school
primarily as an opportunty to shape education more directly according to its
collective wisdom and experience, rather than as a rearguard samurai defense
against the "right wing." The latter kind of makes parents and kids just
means to your end, doesn't it?
