Cristo Rey is one of the urban schools Gates profiles in their book "Rethinking High School..." Another is Northtown Academy in Chicago. The book (despite the "West Ed" research blessinga) is about frauds. Both Cristo Rey and Northtown are clever marketing schemes, not a solution to the problems of urban schools and the tribulations of urban school children.
