Who said that we would ADJUST the results? Heck no! What I said is that we
would not report scores that seem suspect or are not reliable. Now you would
not really want us to report scores that were not true measures of the
student's ability, now would you???

To George C: I loved your response regarding IRT and pattern scoring and
then stopped thinking it would be too technical. Hoverer, you explained it
very well. BTW my comment was in reference to tests of malingering and not
so much to how IRT can be used to detect bizarre response patterns and
cheating. But what you stated is definitely something that we and--as you
pointed out--other test publishers have been doing for years. Thanks for
making my point so much clearer.
