Perhaps they could also present stories like that of The World of
Opportunity in Alabama and send the money there (just an example, but
it's a very good one)? I have to wonder who chooses the charities those
dollars go to.
Our district got some more negative publicity in the Houston Chronicle
last Thursday (unusually high number of drug offenses). Incidental
information, for your reading pleasure...
