She didn't change. Her marketing plans became more sophisticated and went
national via both the Bush and Clinton version of educational reality.
Testocracy, remember, is a bi-partisn affair.

The safest thing might be to be very skeptical of anyone with a "Made in
Chicago" label. Chicago is now exporting high intensity "diversity"
Testocrats (Betty Despenza Green, who ruined Chicago Vocational HIgh School
and is now on the national "Small Schools curcuit, is another).

These individuals will do the same job for your school district that Rod
Paige is now doing at the Education Department.

Why should Portland be immune from such illusions? After all, Portland hosted
Betty Green uncritically a year ago, didn't they? If you want to believe in
unicorns, unicorns are now a Chicago export crop. Our well subsidized
professors pioneered the academic discipline of Unicorn Studies.
