1. Can government schools / government policy erase the race
gap, and if so, how and when? (NCLB says it must happen by 2014! Does
ANYBODY believe the NCLB solution beside GW Bush?)

2. Should goverment schools make this a goal even if it is not realistic?

3. Are all race gaps "caused" by the school system? The white/ black gap?
The white /Asian / Jewish gap? The rich / poor gap?
The native born / immigrant gap? The college parent / drop out parent gap?

4. Should governments seek to erase all social / economic / education gaps
between all genders / races / ages / ethnic / reglious / whatever and if so,
which form of government is best, and which have failed most miserably?

Isn't the central goal of education reform to erase all gaps? Should it be?
