Claudia,

Just wondering. Has this listserve shifted from an emphasis on
educational testing to becoming primarily dedicated to promoting the
interests of the National Democratic Party?

Much as I love Dave's thinking most of the time, I stand with Roxie,
Victor and
Sheria.

As a democrat who knows that ideals can only be approached....sometimes
with very
limited success...I will stay in the party where I have found some
satisfaction
and I will do everything I can to get out the vote to send
Bush/Wolfie/Condi &
company home! MassRefusal does not resonate.

I'd love to see Nadar work collaboratively with people who will give
him their
ear. He should be trying harder still to influence the course of human
events by
helping to shape the democratic party platform from within instead of
playing the
lone ranger.

If the vote were tomorrow, Nadar would once again tilt the Presidency
to
Bush....at least in the overall popular vote...look at the polls! He's
not even
getting 5% of the vote in a 3 way race, but he's getting his share
mostly from
votes that would go to Kerry. Without Nadar, today the popular vote
would go to
Kerry; with Nadar, it goes to Bush by a nose.

In my humble opinion, Dave, the public will get more from your
involvement in the
Democratic Party than it will with a refusal to participate.
