Sarcasm is frequently masked antagonism. In this case, even if George was
sarcastic, Victor wasn't! And in most cases, whenever an opinion is
expressed
that doesn't agree with George's immediately gets labeled as off-topic!
I like your spirit, though: the Buddha admonishes us not to see evil and not
to speak it. Thus we can always render unto George the spirit of his post,
and keep our spirit in the light as you have just done. Thanks for modeling
your listening to all of us.

Thanks, but I can't in good conscience accept your kind words b/c, truth
to tell, the reason I don't mind George's sarcasm is that I'm a card carrying
practioner of it myself. You're absolutely right, of course - it frequently
is, indeed, masked antagonism (and often thinly veiled at that). But we who
dish it out must also be able to take it.
(Jewish teachings also counsel against "the evil tongue" - for the use of
which I find myself having to atone every Yom Kippur)!
