The response here is "It's all legal!" Just like the neo-cons, Bersin
apparently assumes we're all too stupid to see the moral and ethical aspects of
his situation. He was an employee of a school district, which has restrictions
on his public activities as their representative. So, he uses corporate
foundation funding, from very political entities, to do the things that he wants
to do in order to avoid review by his employers. Now what would Bersin have
said to a San Diego teacher who tried to do the same thing, that is who
attempted to speak for the school district or a school at a public event?

Your attempts at character assassination are as pathetic as they are futile
and ill-informed. Among other things, this arrangement saved the taxpayers
money because they did not have to reimburse Bersin's travel expenses and
other expenses. Foundations of various kinds are common in large districts and
even in smaller ones. And what's this nonsense about speaking for the school
district? Ever hear of "teachers' unions"? Does the school board authorize
their public communictions?
