Though this Education Week story somewhat conflates the Joint Statement
(now endorsed by 114 education, civil rights, religious, disability and
civic groups) with the Forum on Educational Accountability (the working
group seeking to flesh out and implement the Joint Statement's
principles), it does accurately depict the growing clout of the national
NCLB reform movement.
