I need your help. I'm writing a piece on what various states and districts are doing RE: rejecting NCLB either by forgoing Title 1 money, suing the Feds, refusing to administer tests, or other ways.

Here are some examples:

- DuPage County Illinois school district considering not administering mandatory state exams to students who haven't yet mastered English

- The state of Connecticut is bucking NCLB via a lawsuit - anyone know the status of this?

- Virginia is on the verge of pulling out, too - status?

- the lawsuit that the NEA brought against the Feds, which was initially thrown out of court, is now back in play - status?

- And then there's Utah - status?

What are some other examples?

Thanks.

Peter
