Nancy, I have a long commute to work, so I listen to books on tape from the library. I recently picked up The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman. I think what has made it a best seller, is every politician has bought it. It makes everything I am hearing about education from Granholm to DeVos fall into place, all about creating a "Workforce" for the "Global Economy." It sounds like your friend "Ehlers" is quoting from it too. I've never made so many connections when reading a book. Nancy Creech
