"Stretching" the truth about NCLB is the stock-in-trade of ARN. NCLB
requires states to improve their schools until all children achieve to high
standards. ARN and whacky outfits like FairTest blame NCLB because districts and
states are gaming the system to make themselves look good instead of looking
out for the best interests of parents and kids.
This defies experience and common sense.
