Billee... The NAACP believes that schoolchildren would be better off if  
states met their obligations under NCLB.  You believe that people on this  list 
are more trustworthy in looking 
out for the interests of vulnerable  children than the NAACP.  I believe the 
NAACP is right and people on  this list are wrong, that NCLB is not a stealth 
tool to destroy  public education, and that unreasoning opposition to NCLB 
works against the  best interests of parents and children, and particularly 
against the best  interests of poor and minority children.

I get sick and tired of you telling me and everyone else on this list what  
you think we believe.
You don't trust my judgment about a profession I was in for three decades  
(re: my comment on self-censorship).  You think you know more about what  went 
on in my profession than I do.  What unmittigated gall! 
 
What is very clear to me Mr. Know It All Who Knows NOTHING   is that you are 
among the right-wing's masterful manipulators of facts and  figures who are 
poisoning this nation and leading it to its  demise. You are no better than the 
skillful liars running this nation who told  us there were weapons of mass 
destruction, and that resulted in people of  all races and political persuasions 
to support the president's decision to  go to war. People of your ilk and 
prejudice have duped this nation and  people of all races on many issues and 
levels, including the intents of No  Child Left Behind. It is time those of us on 
the left take off our Kidd gloves  with self-righteous folks like you whose are 
no better than the "end  justifies the means" Communists they once "found" 
under every rock.
