I recently received a call from a gentleman by the name of Dr. Floyd
McDowel who is with the "Non Profit for Partners for Quality Learning
Alliance who spoke with me about the recent discussion with the Maryland
State Department of Education coming in to restructure "reconstituted
schools in Baltimore City in the next three years. He noted that his
group did something similar to this in Tampa Fla. I'm curious if any
members are familiar with this group? What is their track record?
Earlier in the week I received an e-mail that discussed the move to the
privatization of education and wondered if it could be e-mailed to me
again . Seeing both the e-mail and getting this telephone call made me a
little suspicious. What are your thoughts??
