Michael & Kathy:

I hear you loud and clear, Kathy and Michael. I also have a vested interest
in not fueling my competitiveness any more than it already absurdly is. The
fact is that enemies are a mirage. Noone fails here. I am not willing to
accept my winning based on someone else's failing. That is why I will
campaign against GW.

I agree that we need to take back our schools, but we will not take it back
by confrontation. We will take it back by the humility of our sweat equity,
and we will have a management system that includes everyone, administrators
and state and federal people. I do not want to be part of any clique that
excludes people and shuts itself down from the learning process. Most of
all, after having spent a decade monitoring schools, I still believe that
fundamentally our schools are good, and we have good people, just very, very
poor and disconnected leadership. And speeches will not change things.

No more leadership bent on crucifixion, my friends. Marxism failed after
capitalism. And we have a spiritual shell going into the Millennium. But
it's just another year, isn't it?

Looking forward to our mutual efforts.

Quan
