(A little metaphor I picked up at one of them winter doldrums professional
development sessions, where we try to perk the staff up, so they at least
think they're happy about whatever the reform du jour is.)
Achieve to parents, teacher and local administrators: Don't mind us, just
argue amongst yourselves until we get these policies into place with your
state and national education departments to require your compliance to our
political agenda.
