Amen! I have a daughter who is a "new teacher" and I have several "new
teachers" and prospective teachers on my list. Teaching colleges and their
students are some of our best allies. Just as many "old teachers" are
hoodwinked or scared into compliance as new teachers, in many instances. The
same goes for parents. Apathy and ignorance are equal opportunity plagues.
Activism and discernment are equal opportunity solutions.
